Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Account Officer to oversee and manage our organization’s financial transactions and records. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective financial management to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities
Accounts Management:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journals, ledgers, and financial statements.
Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient company liquidity.

Financial Reconciliation:
Reconcile bank statements, balance sheets, and other financial documents to ensure accuracy.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies or errors in financial records.

Financial Reporting:
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Provide financial analysis to support business decisions.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial standards and regulations.

Tax and Compliance:
Assist with tax filings, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and internal policies.

Audit Support:
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
Implement audit recommendations to improve financial controls.

Documentation and Record Keeping:
Maintain organized and secure financial records for easy reference.
Ensure documentation complies with company policies.

Additional Duties:
Assist the Finance Manager in budget preparation and financial planning.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data accuracy.

Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience in accounting or finance.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
