Job Description:
The Barman will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a timely, friendly, and professional manner. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of drink recipes, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming bar environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Monitor stock levels and notify supervisors of low inventory.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and hygiene standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- SHS Certificate or equivalent; bartending training is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a bartender or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of beverages, cocktail preparation, and bar service etiquette.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
