Job Description:
De Heus Ghana is hiring an Accounts / Administrative Officer to handle payroll operations and support administrative tasks. The role is essential for ensuring salary accuracy, statutory compliance, and benefit administration, while also contributing to general office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process monthly payroll and ensure accurate salary payments.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and statutory deductions (e.g., SSNIT, PAYE).
- Maintain and update payroll records and employee files.
- Administer employee benefits and ensure timely enrollment and updates.
- Respond to payroll-related queries from staff and resolve issues promptly.
- Provide administrative support such as preparing reports, maintaining files, and managing office supplies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll or administrative functions.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of Ghana’s labor and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
