Assistant Manager, Procurement

Job Description:
To provide operational support for the effective and efficient performance of the procurement functions of the Fund.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collect data for the preparation of the annual procurement plan of the Fund.
2. Collect data for the development of the procurement manual and procedures.
3. Collect data for the development, maintenance, and update of a supplier database.
4. Facilitate the effective management of the procurement process.
5. Conduct market surveys.
6. Collect data for the preparation of the budget and work plan of the Unit.
7. Collect data for the preparation of annual and other periodic reports of the Unit.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement Management, Purchasing & Supply, or any related field from an accredited institution.
2. Must have completed National Service.
3. Knowledge in Public Procurement Act and financial management laws.
4. Knowledge and understanding of Public Administration Systems.
5. Strong analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
6. High integrity and ethical standards.
7. Good communication, interpersonal skills, and knowledge in ICT applications.
