Job Description:
Rock City Hotel is a leading player in the hospitality industry, committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences. We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Stores Officer to join our team and ensure the efficient management of our inventory and supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods and supplies within the company.
2. Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock levels regularly.
3. Conduct periodic stock audits to prevent shortages, discrepancies, and wastage.
4. Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of inventory according to company standards.
5. Work closely with procurement and other departments to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
6. Prepare and submit inventory reports to management.
7. Implement and enforce health and safety regulations in the store.
8. Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommend necessary actions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
2. At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Strong organizational and time management skills.
4. Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Knowledge in materials control systems will be an added advantage.
