Project Lead – Paper Buddy Youth Sustainability Initiative

Job Description:
Bagit Packaging, a leading paper packaging company in Ghana, is launching the Paper Buddy initiative — a flagship youth-focused project promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility. The company seeks a passionate and vibrant Project Lead to spearhead this initiative, inspire youth, and implement impactful programs across schools and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, planning, and execution of Paper Buddy programs across schools, communities, and youth networks
- Develop engaging activities including workshops, recycling challenges, and creative contests
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders (NGOs, schools, government agencies)
- Represent the initiative in community forums, media, and public events
- Create digital content and manage social media campaigns targeting eco-conscious youth
- Monitor project impact, gather feedback, and prepare performance reports
- Identify and cultivate partnerships and sponsorships to expand the initiative
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Communications, Project Management, Education, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in project leadership, youth engagement, education, or sustainability
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with Ghana’s education and/or environmental sectors is a plus
- Passion for environmental advocacy, creativity, and social impact
