Job Description:
Inngen is seeking a skilled Database Consultant with extensive experience in MS SQL Server administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing database installations, configurations, migrations, and maintenance. The role involves working closely with various teams to resolve database and infrastructure issues while contributing to process automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer MS SQL Server databases, including versions 2014, 2016, 2019, and 2022.
  • Perform SQL Server installations, upgrades, migrations, and configurations.
  • Implement redundancy and failover solutions (Always On cluster and Windows failover cluster).
  • Manage backups, restores, recovery models, and database maintenance operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve database and infrastructure issues.
  • Contribute to the automation of recurrent tasks.
  • Adhere to ITIL processes and demonstrate strong communication skills.
  • Experience in AWS is an advantage.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 years of practical experience in MS SQL Server administration.
  • Expertise in redundancy and failover mechanisms.
  • Strong understanding of database backup, recovery, and maintenance operations.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes.
    Proficiency in AWS is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
