We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of video editing techniques and tools, with the ability to transform raw footage into compelling visual stories. This role involves collaboration with the creative team to align content with brand guidelines, managing multiple projects, and staying updated with the latest trends in video editing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit video footage, ensuring seamless transitions, audio synchronization, and visual continuity.
- Incorporate storytelling techniques, such as cuts, transitions, overlays, and effects, to enhance engagement.
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project objectives, vision, and target audience.
- Optimize storytelling through shot selection, trimming, and rearranging footage.
- Enhance video quality through color correction, grading, lighting, and audio adjustments.
- Use video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects to create polished content.
Stay updated on the latest video editing techniques, software advancements, and industry trends. - Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Create visually appealing video animations to improve overall content quality.
- Maintain organized video libraries and archives, ensuring easy accessibility and retrieval.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience in video editing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
