Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Solar PV Installer to join our team. The role involves the installation of PV components, panel mounting, and site material management while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in all operations. The ideal candidate should have a practical approach, good communication skills, and a willingness to work at heights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set out and install PV components, including panel mounting and material placement.
  • Plan daily activities with the team and ensure efficient material management on-site.
  • Report site challenges and progress to the site supervisor.
  • Plan and prepare material requirements one week in advance.
  • Complete daily tool checklists, hand tool inspections, and maintain the safety file.
  • Ensure on-site quality control and maintain a daily project diary.
    Receive and verify material deliveries.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Matric (High School Diploma or equivalent).
  • Exposure to construction work (Solar PV experience preferred).
  • Driver’s License (beneficial).
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Physically fit for the demands of the role.

Preferred skill: 

  • Professionalism and technical aptitude.
  • Strong understanding of occupational health and safety (OHS).
  • Practical, hands-on approach to work.
  • Excellent verbal communication and teamwork skills.
