Job Description:
GIFEC is seeking a highly competent Senior Manager, HR to support the technical and operational functions of its Human Resource Unit. This role involves policy implementation, HRMIS management, and driving staff welfare, training, and organizational planning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collate data for policy formulation, organizational design, HR planning, and compensation schemes.
2. Implement and monitor HR programmes, staff welfare initiatives, and disciplinary directives.
3. Maintain and update the Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS).
4. Facilitate training, learning, and development activities for staff.
5. Provide input for budgeting, reporting, and supervise the performance of subordinate staff.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Master’s degree in Business/Public Administration, Human Resource Management, Social Sciences, or related fields from an accredited institution.
2. Minimum of 4 years of relevant post-Bachelor’s degree work experience in a reputable organization.
3. Membership in a recognized professional HR body.
4. Proficient in labour laws, administrative procedures, and strategic HR management.
5. Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills.
6. Competency in financial management laws, IT applications, and monitoring & evaluation.
