Job Description:
The Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC) is seeking a qualified Manager for its Research Unit. The role involves supporting the Fund’s research activities by collecting data, facilitating strategic planning, implementing programs, and preparing research findings and reports. The manager will also lead research projects and supervise subordinate staff.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise data collection for policy formulation and support preparation of strategic plans
2. Implement research programs and produce reports, fact sheets, and policy briefs
3. Develop research proposals, agendas, and contribute to resource mobilization plans
4. Monitor unit performance, prepare annual work plans and budgets, and appraise subordinate staff

Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Project Management or a related field
2. At least 1 year of relevant post-Bachelor’s degree work experience
3. Strong analytical, communication, and research skills
4. Proficiency in statistical tools, research methodologies, and IT applications
