Job Description:
OMA Group is offering a trainee opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer. This role is designed to train and qualify the candidate in maintenance operations using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as IFS. The trainee will support the technical team in maintenance planning, inventory evaluation, and material handling within the industrial, marine, or oil and gas sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor upcoming maintenance activities using the CMMS (IFS)
2. Assist the technical team with maintenance scheduling and spare parts planning
3. Support the evaluation of spare parts and inventory stock levels
4. Contribute to turnaround planning and execution

Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Technical or university degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
2. Minimum of 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in industrial, marine, or oil and gas sectors
3. Proficiency in SAP, IFS, or other maintenance-related databases
4. Solid understanding of maintenance standards
5. Familiarity with compliance and safety protocols related to maintenance
