Job Description:
Olam Agri, a global leader in food and agri-business, is seeking a seasoned Legal Manager to support its operations in Ghana. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate law, contracts management, litigation, and compliance. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to high-impact legal and business initiatives across a global value chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with external counsel to manage litigation and associated administrative processes
- Manage and update legal applications and maintain legal databases
- Handle contracts management and corporate legal documentation
- Lead monthly legal reporting and ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage data privacy compliance processes
- Retrieve and organize legal files and integrate them into the existing legal framework
- Ensure sound legal advisory support across departments
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Graduate degree in Law (minimum Second Class Lower)
- Member of the Ghana Bar Association
- Minimum of 6–8 years’ post-call experience, preferably in both law firm and corporate settings
- Strong knowledge of corporate commercial practice and legal reporting
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
