Job Description:

The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and networks. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring system security, and supporting users with IT-related concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networks.
2. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and servers.
3. Provide technical support to users, resolving IT-related problems efficiently.
4. Ensure IT system security, including data backup, antivirus protection, and access controls.
5. Manage and monitor network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
6. Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards for compliance and security.
7. Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
8. Collaborate with other departments to understand and support IT needs.
9. Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and installations.
10. Document IT systems, configurations, and procedures for knowledge sharing and training.

Qualifications and Requirements: 

1. HND or diploma in a relevant field.
2. Proven experience in IT support or administration.
3. Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
4. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
5. Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS.
6. Knowledge of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
7. Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
