Job Description:
Minlogistics, a reputable logistics and transport company in Accra, is seeking a highly qualified professional to lead its Freight Forwarding unit. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction, oversee daily operations, and ensure efficiency and profitability within the unit.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategies for efficient freight forwarding operations.
2. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
3. Oversee the use of the ICUMS software for freight management.
4. Manage and develop the freight forwarding team for optimal performance.
5. Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and regulatory agencies.
6. Monitor financial performance and drive profitability of the unit.
7. Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements: 

1. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Management or a relevant field.
2. Certificate or diploma in Freight Forwarding.
3. Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
4. Strong ICT skills and proficiency in ICUMS software operations.
5. A master’s degree will be an added advantage.
