Job Description:
Responsible for identifying growth opportunities in exploration and production, ensuring regulatory compliance, stakeholder relations, and aligning with PetroSA’s business objectives in Ghana.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute strategic plans for PetroSA Ghana’s business development.
2. Manage new asset portfolio activities, including risk analysis and due diligence.
3. Identify and evaluate new business opportunities for economic viability.
4. Establish and maintain stakeholder relations with government officials and joint venture partners.
5. Oversee country office operations, ensuring compliance with South African and Ghanaian regulations.
6. Formulate and track budgets for assets and exploration rights.
7. Participate in legal and commercial meetings for operational knowledge.

Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Postgraduate degree in Business Management, Commercial, Engineering, or Sciences.
2. MBA is advantageous.
3. 10 years of commercial/technical experience in the Oil & Gas industry (especially Upstream).
4. 5 years of experience in Business Development & Stakeholder Management.
5. 3 years in a Senior Management position in Ghana.
6. Proven track record in stakeholder management, business development, and sales in the Oil & Gas industry.
7. Strong knowledge of Ghana’s laws and licensing rounds in Oil & Gas.
