Job Description:
Youth Climate Council Ghana seeks a dynamic Communications and Outreach Officer to lead its communication efforts and foster meaningful community engagement. The role involves creating compelling content for various media channels, managing outreach programs, and supporting climate-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective communication strategies for outreach and advocacy
Create and edit high-quality content for print and digital platforms
Collaborate with graphic designers to produce visually appealing communication materials
Support engagement initiatives with government, intergovernmental, or international organizations
Assist in organizing events, workshops, and campaigns related to climate and environmental issues

Qualifications and Requirements:
A degree or equivalent in Social Science, Communications Studies, or Public Relations
Minimum of 2 years of experience in communications and/or outreach
Strong writing and editing skills for both print and digital media
Advanced graphic design skills or relevant qualifications (preferred)
Desirable experience working in the climate/environmental sector or with governmental/intergovernmental organizations
Must be 30 years old or below during the duration of the mandate
