Job Description:
The Chef will be responsible for preparing a wide variety of dishes in accordance with the hotel’s standards, ensuring high food quality, presentation, and hygiene. This role requires creativity, speed, and leadership in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare meals following the hotel’s menu and guest specifications.
- Ensure food presentation, taste, and portioning are up to standard.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering food supplies.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts or relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional cooking experience in a hotel or restaurant.
- Knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
