Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities in the commercial, industrial, and agriculture sectors. The role includes cultivating partnerships, managing client relationships, and driving growth in the renewable energy industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development, with expertise in solar PV systems and battery energy storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities in target sectors.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships and partnerships.
- Create and present business proposals to potential clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Travel nationally and across African borders to expand the company’s footprint.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- National Diploma or equivalent in Marketing (technical qualifications are advantageous).
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the renewable energy sector.
- Thorough understanding of solar PV systems and battery energy storage systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, hardworking, and capable of working in a decentralized team.
- Valid Driver’s License and Passport.
