Job Description:
Japan Motors Trading Company Limited is seeking a driven and experienced Assistant Spare Parts Manager to support the Parts Manager in overseeing daily operations of the parts department. This role involves inventory management, staff coordination, and ensuring excellent customer service and parts availability.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Parts Manager in daily operations, including inventory management, parts ordering, and customer service
2. Oversee the department in the absence of the Parts Manager
3. Coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal inventory and negotiate pricing
4. Monitor and manage inventory control to reduce discrepancies and excess stock
5. Assist in training and supervising staff to ensure a productive work environment
6. Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues related to parts availability
7. Implement strategies for improved efficiency within the department
8. Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in parts systems
9. Prepare reports on inventory, sales, and performance metrics

Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Minimum of 10 years’ experience in parts management, automotive service, or inventory management
2. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Automotive Technology, or related field (preferred)
3. Strong understanding of automotive parts and their applications
4. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
5. Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office suite
6. Strong leadership and team management skills
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
